Parisa Jilavi, P.Eng. has contributed immensely to our organization’s success, and we are pleased to recognize her recent promotion to Associate at SMcN Consulting Inc.
graduated with a BASc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Iran University of Science & Technology in Tehran. Now with over 20 years of engineering experience, she has been a valuable contributing member of our team.
She is Engineer of Record, overseeing the design and current construction of Walnut Park Elementary School, a 4200 m2 new school in Smithers, British Columbia, and Ucluelet Secondary School, a 4500 m2 replacement school on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

Michael Hladky, P.Eng., LEED® Green Associate graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Victoria. Michael is currently the Project Manager for Centre Mountain Lelum Middle and Pexsisen Elementary schools, two new schools being constructed on a common site in Langford, British Columbia.
He expertly oversaw the design and current build of these modern schools, which combined are 11,000 m2 in area and will utilize geothermal energy as the primary source of heating and cooling. Concurrently he coordinated our firm’s construction administration services for the 600-student expansion of Royal Bay Secondary School in Colwood, BC.

Bobbie Stenmark, Executive Assistant has dedicated the past ten years to working closely with SMcN Consulting’s CEO, Stephen McNicholls, P.Eng., as his Executive Assistant. Two years ago, she joined SMcN Consulting as Manager of Administration and Business Development, where she recently spearheaded the application process and latest approval of the Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia’s, ‘Organizational Quality Management’ certification.
Bobbie is also enrolled part-time at Vancouver Island University, in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, to enhance her skill base in support of her expanded responsibilities with the Administrative, Marketing and Financial operation of the company.
