Partnering with School District 68, Herold Engineering and Bradley Shuya Architects, SMcN is designing the mechanical, plumbing and fire suppression components for seismic upgrades at Pleasant Valley and Cilaire Elementary Schools.
As part of these projects, two previously closed facilities, Rutherford Elementary school and Woodlands Secondary school, are being renovated to be used as temporary accommodations during the seismic work at Pleasant Valley and Cilaire.
Mechanical improvements to provide improved ventilation and lower GHG emissions are also being incorporated.
