During this uncertain time, one thing is certain: we are grateful for our valued clients, colleagues and our dedicated team members.
As always, our priority is to provide our key partners – our clients and colleagues – with the same excellent service and quality of work they’ve come to expect from SMcN. The health and safety of our staff and partners is, as always, also a priority and especially so during the current situation with COVID-19.
The situation is evolving rapidly and there is uncertainty for all of us in knowing when this will abate. So, for the foreseeable future we are implementing policies to limit exposure to COVID-19, to strive to protect the health and safety of all involved.
MEETINGS – Until further notice, we will no longer be organizing or participating in in-person meetings or events. Meetings can be organized via teleconference or web-based video.
SITE VISITS – Our team members will travel to project sites individually. Where possible, therefore only one of our team members will attend site visits.
Our preference is to attend site when nobody else is around or with only one or two clients and/or contractors. When meeting with others we will be avoiding physical contact (ie: shaking hands) and will be maintaining recommended social distancing of a minimum of 2 metres. We will proactively communicate with our clients & colleagues so that we are informed of any restrictions others may have in place.
AIR TRAVEL – We are no longer traveling via air. We are strongly encouraging our team members not to travel until further notice. Any team member that does travel or live with individuals returning from outside of Canada are to adhere to the 14-day self-quarantine rule upon their return.
REACHING US – Our team members’ cell phones and emails will continue to be active during business hours (8:30-5 (Mon-Thur.) & 8:30-2 (Fri). Please do not hesitate to reach out.
